You sit across from me, hands in my hands. We breathe slowly, softly gazing into each other’s eyes. Our breaths fall into sync, chests rising and falling.
Your face blurs and all I see is your beautiful, green and golden-speckled left eye. Breathing together, present, here and now. What a beautiful eye, what an innocent soul.
I see you. How quickly can I let my guard down and let my soul stand naked in front of you? It’s exquisite – this deep, heart-opening gaze and dance of breath.
How quickly can I let you see me?
Of all my friends and loved ones, how many have I truly seen?
Everything around us dissolves as I float into the starburst in your eye, swirling through entire galaxies of your depth.
A wave of love overflows from my chest. In the same moment, your eyes tear up and crinkle in a soft smile. Do you feel what I feel? Our eyes are so powerful, offering the gift of presence and unconditional love.
You are no longer separate, as I see myself in your eyes. You’re a mirror, showing me the love I crave underneath the hardness.
Human to human, heart to heart. We’re two people who came together from oceans apart to share this sacred moment. It does not matter the stories you carry, your beliefs, or your wounds. You’re raw beauty to me, just the way you are.
We close the connection with a hug of dear lovers. I see you. Thank you for seeing me. I love you.
We shift and move to sit across the next person. Hazel and blissed-out eyes, this older woman’s heart is wide open from her previous encounter. We begin again, settling into life-giving breath and gaze.
How quickly can I love you? Without pretenses, judgements, or fears – it takes seconds.
Our unique energy fields collide, and you activate something in me that only you could unlock.
The energy in the entire room shifts even higher as people of all backgrounds fall in love over and over again.
It is the universal love for humanity, the love that we’ve forgotten underneath our armored hearts. It is the unconditional love that doesn’t require anything in return, as we stand in our own wholeness to intimately connect. This is the energy that creates worlds, the energy that guides us home to who we truly are.
